Memory was written, recorded, and mixed over the course of one extremely busy month as part of the "RPM Challenge." Somehow, over the course of speed-writing the first lyrics that came to mind, a sort-of concept emerged. Most of the lyrics deal with looking at the past, either with fondness ("Ideasthesia") or regret ("Hamartia"); sometimes, being unable to remember ("Aporia"), and other times being unable to let go ("Pareidolia")
